Sara and Jacobe's Wedding

Our last wedding of the season was on the first day of our annual Shasta vacation. Sara married Jacobe in a wonderful ceremony! It was good to see Uncle Frank, Aunt Prospera, Uncle Vince, Aunt Connie, Aunt Maria and Zio Luigi even for a short while. Also great to see Frank, Louis and the families. The kids had a lot of fun coloring and playing in the water. It was H…E ….double hockey sticks, HOT!

Jack made a lot of friends with his airplane bag and even got an invitation from the pilots to come on up and fly the plane with them. Most of all, he had fun with all of his cousins!

Guido’s car finally arrived. And it is spectacular! Guess who gets the garage now…..that’s right….Alyssa still gets it. Although she lets Guido use it on rare occasions.

Robert and Carly's Wedding

We got to got to Chicago and be part of Robert and Carly’s wedding day. Getting there we had quite the rough adventure. First we missed our flight so we lost our first class seats and had to fly coach. Then we got to Chicago and hit a ton of traffic getting out of the airport. Well, we finally made it to the dinner and had a great time at the wedding the next day. Flying back we made it in time for our flight and so we got to keep our first class tickets.

The first of the two new cars is finally here. Alyssa is very excited. Jack of course said he didn’t like it, but then he did like the televisions in the headrests. I guess you can’t please everyone.

After 15 years with the same cars, we are upgrading our 1998 Pontiac Grand Am and 1999 Toyota 4Runner. The winners?

A 2013 Infiniti M56s to replace the Pontiac and an Infiniti QX56 to replace the 4Runner. Below are some model pics. Ours will be built in February so we won’t see them until March timeframe.
