All About Guido
Born in Northern California back in 1974, Guido started out like any other child tinkering with everything and leaving it in shambles when he was done. Unlike many other children, he continued this tinkering into adulthood and even today leaves things in a manner far different from what they started. Although, today he tends to know his limits and tries to keep the cost of his tinkering to the bare minimum.
One of his favorite tinkers today is computers (Macintosh of course, since PCs really aren’t computers to start with) and software. He loves tinkering with video and digital imaging. Which leads to another of his tinkers...photography. Guido loves taking photos of landscapes that are majestic, grand and beautiful. It makes the photos noteworthy even at the hands of an amateur photographer.
Guido started working in the biotech industry back in 1996 and has been in it ever since. His second job in the biotech industry was working at Amgen based in Thousand Oaks, CA.
Over the years Guido has moved around the country quite a bit while taking on different roles at Amgen. In 2003, he moved to the East Coast where he had the pleasure of living in some of the crappiest weather known to man. While the weather was not as nice as that in California, he did meet the love of his life while in Rhode Island, so it was not all bad. In 2007, Guido and his wife, Alyssa, moved to Northern California where they were blessed to bring their son into the world.
Still working at Amgen, today Guido lives again in Southern California with his wife Alyssa, son Gioacchino and dog, Mac.
